Ellen Daulerio is a holistic health coach, physical therapist, and therapy dog handler. She graduated from the Institute of Integrative Nutrition health coaching program and Hahnemann University Master’s Program in Physical Therapy. She completed coursework from the Klinghardt Academy in Autonomic Response Testing (ART), Klinghardt Protocols, and Applied Psychoneurobiology and is certified with Therapy Dogs International in Canine Emotional Assistance. She was also an American Physical Therapy Association Clinical Specialist in Neurology and Geriatrics. She offers her clients “pearls of wisdom” gleaned from 30 years of experience with conventional and alternative health care approaches, both as a practitioner and as a patient. Ellen has “walked the talk”, having embraced “patient heal thyself” as her healing paradigm.
As a physical therapist with a clinical concentration in brain injury, neurological diseases, diseases of aging, cognitive disorders, and chronic pain, Ellen specialized for ten years in the rehabilitation of those suffering with devastating disabilities. She supported patients and families along the road to recovery, helping them regain optimal function and reintegrate into their communities. While living abroad in Japan and England, Ellen studied Reiki, Shiatsu, Qi Gong, and Clinical Pilates, adding those modalities to her healing repertoire. Upon return to the United States, she herself became seriously ill. After five years of misdiagnosis, she became a patient of Dietrich Klinghardt, MD, PhD, learning that she had Lyme disease, heavy metal toxicity, and a host of other medical problems.
As a patient of Sophia Health Institute, Ellen has first-hand experience with the intensive antimicrobial, detoxification, chelation, supplementation, immunomodulation, and psychoemotional treatments that embody Dr. Klinghardt’s “Five Levels of Healing”. This comprehensive approach allowed her to shift from illness to wellness and effectively manage her disease with a renewed zest for life.
Ellen’s goal as a health coach is to empower clients afflicted with Lyme Disease and other complex chronic illnesses to lead meaningful and purpose-full lives irrespective of their health challenges. She believes people can be the agents of their own positive health transformation. Ellen enjoys coaching clients in the critical success factors of how to navigate protocols, make sustainable behavioral and lifestyle changes, release limiting beliefs and negative thought patterns, and build resiliency as they follow the intricate path of regaining their health.
