“Our Son Has Been Doing Fantastic…”
Our son has been doing fantastic after his last appointment with Dr. Klinghardt, we have had a completely different boy (a very very happy one) on our hands this past week and feel like he is finally turning that corner we have been waiting for all these years! We don’t know what we would do without all of you!!
“My Life Began To Change…”
I have struggled for more than a decade with health challenges and worked with many doctor’s along the way. It wasn’t until I became a patient at The Sophia Health Institute® that my life began to change. For the first time, I could let go of “needing to figure it out” and let my doctors manage my treatment.
As a patient with The Sophia Health Institute® for more than two years, I have been consistently impressed by the competent and sincerely compassionate staff. This stellar practice manages an extremely difficult patient population and they manage to do it with a smile on their faces. I have worked with almost everyone at the clinic and have received the absolute best care. I also work often with the front desk and management and I can say that in every single circumstance, theirprofessionalism was both polished and consistent
“Grateful For The Work You Do…”
After 9 months of continuous problems, try to imagine my joy at having no neuro symptoms for two weeks! I often don’t know how bad it’s been until it’s stopped. Try to imagine how grateful I am for the work you do! Thank you so very much.
“Dr. Klinghardt And His team Saved My Life…”
I have been a patient of Dr. Klinghardt’s since 2009, when I staggered onto a plane and flew across country, so tired I could barely walk a block. I had initially been diagnosed with Lyme in 2004, treated it immediately and aggressively antibiotics, and been told I was “cured.” Five years and many doctors later, I learned that I still had Lyme, along with an infection in my jaw, chronic strep, parasites and heavy metal toxicity. C.diff was also part of my history, so antibiotic treatment was dangerous for me. Dr. Klinghardt and his team of naturopath physicians saved my life. I went from being so physically and cognitively impaired that I couldn’t work, to attending grad school and will graduate in 2014.
“The Team At Sophia Are Great…”
Healing from long-term illness not always easy, but the team at Sophia are great guides on the sometimes long and winding road back to health. They actively seek out and use cutting edge therapies from around the world, and are experts in creating personalized approaches tailored for each patient’s needs. There’s a serious global crisis with these types of illnesses – very few doctors know how treat them. I am so grateful for Dr. Klinghardt’s help. He is a great and life-changing healer and teacher.
“Very Positive Experience…”
We have just returned home from my 4 day experience at the Sophia Institute. Our experience was very positive and has provided me with hope. I would like to express my sincere appreciation to Dr. Brooke Bodeen, Dr. Nicol Giandomenico, Kim Richardson, Desiree Schultz, and Kim Todd for your professionalism, knowledge, demeanour, attitudes and great senses of humour. You all made a very challenging situation virtually palatable.
“Getting My Life Back…”
I’ve been home for a week and I STILL feel great. Not quite sure why even, but I’ll take it for as long as it lasts! My entire family is in a little bit of awe. Thanks so much, and thanks again for helping me start to get my life back 🙂
“The Care Cutting-edge And Nothing Short Of Brilliant…”
Point-blank – chronic illness is hard. I walked into the clinic as a desperate, lost, and hopeless nineteen year old who had been searching for answers for so long, but more pain and less cognitive ability seemed to be all that came from a tiresome list of clinics, doctors, and traveling. What I first saw as time wasted, I now see as an insane path that somehow got me through the door and into the care of Dr. Klinghardt and Dr. Nicki (who I will literally refer anyone to because she is the kindest, most compassionate and caring doctor, I’ve ever had the privilege of working with). Even through crashes, intense treatment, and an overwhelming amount of information after my first week of appointments, there was no time for skepticism because something in the air said everything was going to be okay. That aroma came from the true compassion and sincerity that each staff member brought, whether that be the amazing front desk staff, the calming IV nurses, or genius filled doctors. I was originally a commuter patient, and, given my sensitivities and complex case, being far from the clinic proved to be too hard on my health and I continued to spiral. But how? The doctors know what they are doing, the treatments should be working, my body needs this stuff — right? Right…but for some reason I still knew this clinic was where I needed to be. Faith. Faith. Little did I know how much my life was going to change after making a collective decision to move close to the clinic for more constant monitoring and treatment. A few months after starting what I refer to as my ‘full time job’, I began to find myself changing, getting hopeful, and making a critical switch in mentality — I’m going to get better. Some may think that’s an easy sentence to say, but I didn’t realize how buried it was until the day it was resurrected. The care at Sophia is insane, cutting-edge, and nothing short of brilliant, but none of it will work if the patient doesn’t show up. Even if you’re not in the emotional place (as I wasn’t) to be able to believe you will come to health, look at that place deep inside you that brought you to this website, the place that’s pleading for you to come back to life, to show up, and see that you’re worth it. Yes, the entire team at this clinic is for you and will do anything they possibility can to walk alongside you in your journey, but ultimately, it’s up to the patient to put in the work, and take this illness not as a side-job, but a life— and most importantly, your life. So, as you step into the care at Sophia, know that it’s one of the best teams around, and you will be relentlessly guided to reach the other side. If you want to get there, you will. I’m currently still a patient at the institute, but each day I’m getting closer and closer to health. The differences, even just symptomatically, from my initial step into the clinic and now is seriously night and day. I highly recommend at least checking it out, seeing if it’s right for you, and if you decide it’s what you think is best, then don’t be luke-warm about it — step in, all the way, because health isn’t a ‘maybe’ type of thing, it’s a ‘yes’.
Seeing Dr. K has been paradigm shifting for me. He is doing the most for our children than any other doctor – he doesn’t just keep doing the same thing – he keeps trying new methodologies – we need more doctors like him for our kids! He is also very wise. He gets our pain as parents around this situation and yet he instills me with hope that had been extinguished previously. I really trust him and am happy he is in our life now.
